Uzbekistan records one of the highest levels of investment flow in CIS
Uzbekistan registered one of the highest levels of investment flow among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the CIS Interstate Statistics Committee reported.
The country recorded 41% growth of investment inflow in the first half of 2008 and it occupied the second place after Tajikistan (59% growth).
Investment growth rate in Kyrgyz Republic comprised 0.7% in the first six months of 2008, as compared to 17% growth on average in CIS. Ukraine (10.4%) and Moldova (12.3%) also had one of the lowest investment growth rate.
